When it was not the trainer, the horse would know the answer and when the person giving the quesion knew the answer. The horse received these cues, they would do micro gestures of the answer and the horse picked up on these. People believed that you could enroll people in school and have intelligent animals, which was wrong! High rates of materal death due to puerperal fever. People didn"t wash their hands or lab coats between surgery"s.
