Primary oocyte: finishes 1st meiotic division, forms a secondary oocyte, also forms a polar body (degenerates) Secondary oocyte: starts 2nd meiotic division. Secondary oocyte: finishes 2nd meiotic division, forms a zygote, also forms a second polar body (degenerates) Zygote reaches the uterus: 7 days after ovulation.
