Industrialization in a process of economic and social change which shifts the centres of economic activity onto the focus of work, wages, and incomes. These changes took two forms in the canadian case. First, economic activities shifted from agriculture to manufacturing, and second, from rural to urban. The independent working man was now dependent on their employers. Minerals, and resources exploited especially in ontario, british columbia and quebec. More people working, buying, and selling canadian goods.
