The germans grow accustomed and just go to sleep with gas masks on. One day before the attack, noisy planes fly overboard, allowing tanks move into position without notice. Aus perform a creeping barrage (refer to next section), while germans go to sleep thinking it is a gas attack. Germans are caught by surprise and the australians take their trench(es).
