Here, we want to explore the nature of research as well as the quest to find truth in science and in the social sciences. Dictionary definitions of three simple words: fact, true, and reality. A fact is a thing certainly known to have occurred or to be true; what is true or existent and present in reality. The word true means in accordance with fact or reality; not false or erroneous. Reality is the property of being real, or actually existing as a tangible thing or occurring in fact.
