Urbanization is connected to economic and social changes, such as industrialization. Majority of canadians live in cities and/or suburban areas. City: a specific term used to refer to a particular form of an urban area - a legally incorporated self-governing unit; an inhabited place of greater size, population, or importance than a town or village.
