Acions of state (government) have obvious impacts on us, and some instances it is much more setle. Naion: common culture, atached to paricular territory (so yes for canada) Naion-state: combine culture and geography (poliical geography) Sovereignty: having power (supreme) most basic right of the state. Independent states are enabled and possible through sovereignty. Geopoliics: brings together space, locaion, resources and demography. Global scale (canada"s relaionship with other locaions in the world) Do not want people in conlict with one another. Unilateralism: one state has dominance (runs the show) Canada prefers to have own independent and will not be told what to do when situaion arises. Less than 2% of total populaion and 40% of the total area (half of the country) Start to shape up here but don"t know anything about north. Disappearance and over a year ago was found. Using same analogy with respect to civilizaion. Canada spent lots of ime and money here.
