Description: spacial organization (patterns) of people, places and human phenomena i. e. cities, factories, neighbourhoods, sovereign states etc. Explanation: of the processes that produce these patterns i. e. globalization, capitalism, spacial agglomeration. Interpretation: what these patterns mean (signi cance of the patterns) i. e. social inequality, economic development, peace or con ict. Population: population distribution and the pressure on scarce resources (how are there 7+ billion people)
