If we didnt have immigration pop would be declining. Fertility rates are influenced by a variety of factors many of which are social cultural in nature. Since there"s no govermental support in some countries, they rely on their kids to take care of them. Burden: seen as a burden due to expenses in developed world. Cdr does not account for the age of the pop.
