Her scholarship ended after 2 years and she left and found a husband. When she was 37 she wrote and published her first book. She had three children-> and her potential to write and be published was delayed because she was a wife and mother. They opened up a bookstore (cid:498)munro books(cid:499) in victoria. Her mother was a schoolteacher and her father farmed animals for wool.
