Weather: the state of the atmosphere at a specific time and place: weather is short term, local. Components of weather: temperature, pressure, humidity, wind, clouds, visibility. Climate: the average state of the atmosphere over a long period of time. Climatic averages are calculated from data over a 30 year period. Water vapour: highly variable concentration depending on location, highest in humid areas such as rainforests, water in the atmosphere forms clouds from condensation, and may eventually form precipitation ozone. 1: mostly found in the stratosphere, [rotects us from the sun"s ultraviolent (uv) rays, 20,000 km above us, doesn"t have much to do with temp or climate itself, as more to do with sun"s. Uv rays (7% of sun"s rays are uv the harmful part of the sun"s rays) They are found in refrigerants and industrial processes, inefficient appliances. : destroy the ozone layer.
