Canada is more complex federal, provincial and territorial governments each have their own legislation and human right codes: e. g. vacation in ontario vs. sask. Labour laws & employment standards vs. human rights: promote fair and productive workplaces, balance fair treatment of employees and employer concerns w/ productivity + flexibility. Minimum wage rates . 40 and students under 18 get . Pregnancy leave 17 weeks pregnancy leave + 35 weeks parental leave. Constitutional law: charter of rights and freedoms.
