Intangible assets: hics (human, intellectual, customer, and social capital: help companies gain competitive advantage. Formal training, informal learning, and knowledge management are important for the development of intangible assets, many companies consider training one part of a larger emphasis on continuous learning. Continuous learning: learning system that requires employees to understand the entire work system. Expected to acquire new skills, apply them on the job, and share what they have learned with other employees. Formal training: training and development programs, courses and events that are developed and organized by the company: typically required to attend/complete these programs which can be face-to-face training programs or online programs.
