Rare or unusual sexual behaviour abnormal. Note: what may be considered the norm in one culture may not be in another: harm. If it causes stress, anxiety, or unhappiness for the individual or harms someone else abnormal. Deviant and abnormal are confusing, prefer atypical variations. Definition: atypical patterns of sexual arousal or behaviour that become problematic in the eyes of the individual or society. Sex arousal to unusual stimuli: recurrent urges acted on or are distressing to individual, urges are insistent, demanding or compulsory. Some do not believe these are sexual disorders. New concept = sexual interest disorder ( key feature = distress or dysfunction) Some act on urges, some don"t: most are harmless, private, partialism. Excessively aroused by particular body part (feet, breasts, buttocks) Cross dresses to achieve sexual arousal or gratification, may be troubled by persistent urges to cross dress.
