Communicaion does not occur in isolaion it is more an ongoing process. Not a likes a series of photos posted on facebook, but rather a twiter feed, coninuous: communicaion is symbolic. Symbol an arbitrary sign used to represent a thing, person, idea, event, or relaionship in ways that make communicaion possible. Non verbal things such as the nodding of your head is an another symbol. Non- verbal symbols can someimes be confusing and misleading.
