Portrayed as a young man, teenage boy, athletic. From an island called delos sacred, neutral site, had a temple for apollo. Mother is leto comes from somewhat divine, (phoebe is a titan, name means radian/sunny) and hera was made at zeus for having another child, and hera refused to allow apollo to be born anywhere. All places agreed to this, but the island of delos, and eventually becomes delian apollo. Hera angry at zeus refuses leto help. Rhea, themis, amphitrite (posiedon"s wife) convince e to help give birth. Leto gives bitch at delos artemis helps give birth, or gives birth alone only. Delphi (pythia) apollo searches for a sacred site. Parnassus most sacred where last two people in great flood hide out. Typhon (hera) hera creates a giant female serpent that apollo must defeat, and apollo kills him with arrows. Pytho ( i rot ) apollo says from now on you will rot when serpent dies.
