Messenger god of zeus, like iris is to hera: conveys messages from god to god and god to mortals a lot of contact with mortals, more than others. Trickster god, cheat not a bad thing, it"s endearing. God of merchants/businessman: god of livestock, takes care of animals not like artemis who is a god of wild animals, he is a god of domesticated animals and farms. Guide: guides gods, mortals, heroes, and souls, guide of souls. Greeks don"t have a prejudice of where their gods come from.
