Ater a few dozen more million years, we see the burgess shale this is when we start to see organisms with backbones, heads, antennas, legs, etc. Innovaions that happened over a short period of ime. There was a very rapid series of diversify events that set down the template for some of the major body forms that we see today. Those fossils allow us to document the special period around the cambrian explosion.
