Urbanization: before 2010, rural people outnumbered urban people; after 2010 urban outnumber rural by 2050, about 70% people will live in urban areas. Growth of developing world: in 1950 the lesser developed world had 2x number of people than the developed world; by 2050 there will be 6x the number of people in the lesser developed world.
