Eukaryoic cell: classiicaion that means the cells have a nucleus that contains most of the geneic material in the cell all cells created by our bodies are eukaryoic. Prokaryoic cell: cells that do not contain a true nucleus human body carries many passengers that are mostly prokaryoic cells includes bacterial cells. Esimated 10 imes as many bacterial cells in the human body as there are eukaryoic cells. Make up 2% to 3% of our body weight. Some are potenially harmful but are kept in check by our bodies while others area helpful. Microbiome: describes the populaions of microbioic organisms (microorganisms or microbes) within our bodies. Microorganisms: organisms that are not visible to the naked eye but only visible under a microscope. The microbiome includes prokaryoic bacteria but also small eukaryoic organisms.
