Light which we thought was a wave, can sometimes act as if it is a particle. De broglie guessed that the reverse might happen. A particle could also behave like a wave. The smaller the momentum, the longer the wavelength. Without tunnelling no nuclear fusion we(cid:1)ll come back to this. But when you bounce something off it, you move it. This is very weird: eg: probabilistic prediction for particles to pass through a given slit in an obstruction. But: probability of passing through both slits is not the sum of the probabilities for each separately!! p(slit 1 or slit 2) p(slit 1) + p(slit 2)
