Forensic anthro and human rights investigations february 14th, 2013. Collect physical evidence to assist in bringing those responsible to justice: once the event has occurred, the people responsible lied about their role, evidence in mass graves is crucial to tying them to the crimes. Reconstruct skeletal trauma: ties into conflicting stories about what happens to the people/bodies. Scientifically document events to stand up to historical revisionism eg holocaust denial: people who try to disprove all of the evidence for the holocaust, documentation stops this because it provides true evidence. Body mass: individuals in contact and often entangled. Satellite remains: not parts of the main body mass. Trying to flee gorillas and were lured to safety . Shot and killed after being made to dig their own grave. Caused issues for primates in this area because people were fleeing into their territory and environment *
