Do a biological profile: age, sex, ancestry, identifying traits, trauma. What is the nature of the skeleton. Likely object that caused the trauma: post-mortem damage. Forensic science on tv they do it all! (unrealistic) Does not show what they actually do. Causes some trials to be thrown away due to people thinking they know more from these. The cause of death, on the other hand, is the medical circumstances of the death: heart failure, loss of blood, disease, etc.
