Building a rink in the backyard and puing him into hockey is a normal canadian thing to do lol. 30 000 dollars a year to support his 10 year old. If he just played street hockey, he could have 400 000 dollars by the ime he is 18- so idea of the talent paying of (with a school scholarship) isn"t necessarily thought out. He is doing deliberate pracice (when he gives him command of 10 hockey moves- and he manages to just do it)= dp at high level.
