(usually birth through ages up until 24 months. ) : at this stage, kids learn through pretend play but still struggle with logic and taking the point of view of other people. Their language use begins to have more depths. (usually toddlerhood through early childhood around age 7. ) : kids at this point of development begin to think more logically, but their thinking can also be very inflexible. They tend to struggle with intellectual and hypothetical concepts.
