Find out their last names so that i can research articles by them to study for the exam! Lecture 8: diplomacy in practice: the foreign ministry: speech-writing: today"s workshop: speechwriting. This is a planning meeting at the foreign ministry during which different branches must establish the key points of their country"s unga opening speech. Have a group discussion to select policy items and combine short paragraphs toward a speec. What is important is that the substantive elements are there b/c we"re trying to get the main points. Not everyone"s points will necessary be included in the group paper. Brics (brazil, russia, india, china): have their own bank. They should increase funding to that instead of toward the imf.
