Kidney disease: leading causes of death in underdeveloped countries. Cancer (people don"t live long enough to get cancer: leading causes of death in partially developed countries. Heart (people have adopted an american lifestyle but are left behind in terms of medical care) Infectious diseases (e. g. malaria is still a big problem in various parts of the world) More young people die in africa than in high-income countries. Causes of child deaths are due to various infections, both for neonatal and postneonatal infants.
