The return of the inka-andean cultures of revolution : tupac amaru- execution (1572) and return (1776, tupac amaru ii (1780-82, past as utopia. *revolution used to be atmospheric term for the astronomical turning of a sphere. Different andean kingdoms allied themselves with different spaniards. Viceroy toledo organized a final push of the inkas from cuzco to the remove valley of villacamba (close to machu pichu) Mummies of the inka lineage moved with them including the punchai or the sunk disk which symbolizes their connection with the sun. Viceroy toledo drilled local andean troops in european combat and eventually entered villacamba. Once he got there he captured and executed tupac amaru. He also burned all the mummies for everyone to see. The next day the body and head of tupac amaru, as well as the punchai went missing. The people believed that he went into hiding underground, and became a part of the land.
