So they set out with a greek navy and persian army, but it turned out. Both the persians and greeks were turned away, but the persians don"t respond well to failure because aristagoras promised riches to the persians. He came up with another brilliant scheme, instead of admitting to the fail, he would go back to ionian and other greek regions and stir up the population to revolt and overthrow against the persian control.
