Blue: british and allies; green: french bourbon and allies; clash between empires. 1779-1783: american war of independence: spain wins back florida and minorca. 1793-1795: war with republican france and loss of santo domingo. 1804-1808: alliance with napoleon, hostilities with uk. Objectives are trade/harbours and territories for expansion.
