Case study from thailand: where are the tourists arriving from, middle class in the region into domestic regional tourism, environmental concerns. Tourists might damage the environment by extraction activities. Clearing forests and land for hotels, golf courses, tourism development projects. Private beaches legal mechanisms or just persuasion that people are not welcome there. Roads, docks, airports infrastructure does not help local people prostitution. Rapid spread of drugs, hiv/aids in the area, Lots of foreign currency coming in, good thing but causes inflations, bad for local people whose wages are not rising simultaneously, currency might not trickle down. Some employment advantages and ability to learn skills for example english working in hotels etc. Culture: human behavior, social relationships, all forms of production & technology, fine arts and religious rituals. Cultural landscapes, specific sites, people primitive savage , products of a country differentness .
