The conduct of researchers and their responsibility and obligations to those involved in the re- search (including sponsors, the general public and subjects of research) Would have injected 150l of water into the atmosphere from a weather balloon via a 1km tethered to a ship. Some of the researchers had proposed patents on technologies used in the experiment. Research ethics boards- the institutional responds to unethical research. The common rule- it is not acceptable to do research on non-willing subjects. Respect for: human dignity, free and informed consent, vulnerable persons, privacy and confi- dentiality, justice and inclusiveness, balancing harm and benefits. Fabrication- making up data or results and recording and recording them. Falsification- manipulating materials/research subjects/ equipment or processes or chang- ing/omitting data or results such that the research is not accurately represented.
