Excludable x rivalrous =private good (clothing, cars, parking) Non-excludable x non-rivalrous = public goods (free to air tv, national defense) private property private goods are the same common goods not common property: something that could be appropriated or not, prairies non-excludable. 2 potential sources of confusion: goods or ownership, collective private property managing and very difficult to exclude people from and there are rules.
