So it"s hard to understand literature, and so much of t great literature unless you can get a handle on the way in which authors symbols in their work. So one of the things that that hugh hood does repeatedly, and his novels and hi is to explore these concepts of faith, salvation, and mortality. Experiences on a day to day may strike us as typical, habitual, and we engage in activities that we don"t even think twice about. But for hood, almost everyt some kind of symbolic significance. And he believes that we are actually inhabiting a world that is infused w mainly because for him, it"s a christian world.
