Purposely attempting to injure, pain, or create discomfort repeatedly to another person. 10% from that suffer from chronic bullying. Boys usually verbal/physical, girls usually exclusion/spreading rumors. Bullying suicide, depression, poor class performance. The use of internet/tech to target another child by embarrassing them. People sending death threats/hacking someone"s account then ridicule them. Facebook, instagram, and snapchat = common platforms. Traditional type social and emotional problems. Popular type good social skills/well respected, physically attractive. Turn blind eye to bullying if one of the better ones is teasing the lesser ones. Bully own child you"re not good enough. People who do not fit in gender stereotypes. Females expected to clean, cook, balanced, rhythmic. Males should be tough, brave, physically strong. If they do not fit into these characteristics, they are often called names. If a girl had short hair she could be bullied. If a guy has female friends he could be bullied bc people think he"s gay because he talks about.
