It is the student"s responsibility to attend all lectures and tutorial sessions. The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the basic principles behind circuit analysis. Upon completion of this course, students will be expected to know the basic definitions and concepts employed in circuit analysis. More importantly, students are expected to be able to analyze circuits by choosing and applying the techniques described in this course, and to perform simple circuit design. Ecse-200 is structured to prepare students to apply circuit analysis techniques at a level that will be expected from them in future courses and serve as a foundation for electrical engineering work. The syllabus is detailed in the tentative class timeline at the end of this document. This course will consist of 50 minute lectures delivered thrice a week.
