Document Summary
Durkheim and tarde did their works in the turn of the 19th-20th centuries. Tarde studied the role of communication in social changes. Society: defined as the state or condition of living in company with other people; the system of customs and organization adopted by a group of people for harmonious coexistence and mutual benefit . Society is a power existing over individuals. Humans are made up of two beings: an individual being that origins in the organism and whose sphere of action . Every precept of law can be defined as a rule of sanctioned conduct . The juridical conceptions of the most inferior societies are no less significant than those of the most elevated societies. Thus, the biologist would have given vital phenomenon a very inexact definition, if he had disdained to observe monocellular organisms. The simple organisms tell us how life began before it became more complex = evolutionary analogy of social institutions.
