The king had the responsibility of guarding and maintain maat. The king had to keep the enemies at bay. Kings viewed as architects of moral and social order. Excavations were done at this site by the egypt exploration society. Reconstruction of the ptah precinct-one of most important temple precincts. Ptah-not a creator god but he is associated with the concept of creation. God of patron and craftsmen-sculptures, painters, builders, and masonry. In the book of dead, ptah is described as the master architect, framer of everything in the universe.
