We are going to see how 2 laws of thermodynamics: entropy and enthalpy, energy in bond disorder all these structures interact and define life. It governs many things like protein folding, diseases, ecology . Today, we are going to talk about the free gibs energy equation and how does this relate to life. We are also going to talk about catalysis (and what happens in our cells: bonds that normally oxidize at 100 c can actually work at 37 c without us spontaneously combusting) And we will also talk about energy carrier life goes against the grain of universe and the universe tends to have a maximum disorder. There is a constant need of energy in order to achieve structure. So, we end up coupling reactions that are not spontaneously favored with reactions that are spontaneously favored and that is the purpose of energy activating carrier molecules.
