Leads to adi (acceptable daily intake) for humans: 40 mg/kg. 70 kg man would have to drink ~20 cans to reach adi & ~1600 cans to reach noael: some studies indicate aspartame could cause cancer in test animals, ramazzini institute: 1800 rats fed various amounts of aspartame over lifetime.
