Mot now agree that intelligence is related to the capacity to understand theoretical concepts. Positive correlations among all items on iq tests led to spearman"s development of g and s. General intelligence (g) accounts for overall differences in intellect among people. Our particular skills are reflected in or specific abilities (s). Cattell and horn theorized that intelligence is a mix of two capacities.
