Document Summary

Same rules apply to the other aggregates: remind yourself that none of these things are. Upon gaining enlightenment he leads them towards enlightenment. That which is impermanent is distressful: we get attached to objects, beliefs, other people, and become upset when they leave . Most things are subject to impermanence, decay, and death. All impermanent things are not correctly thought of as this is mine . it is incorrect to see that which is subject to change as something that is part of the self. We should not associate impermanence with the self, because we presume some underlying impermanence (ie of the self who was in our baby body and current body). Our underlying assumption of permanence underlies our acceptance of impermanence. If we continually tell ourselves the body is not ourself, we can undo attachment. Seeing in this way, you can detach from the aggregates and be liberated knowledge of liberation, end of karmic cycle .
