[the same applies to outside of canada: ex; student loans claim you have an ontario portion + federal portion. Being the crown, there is no limitation period. In the pleading stage you are setting out all your material facts the essence of your claim: ex: there was a contract. You had to find other work + loss of income: ex: tort claim + breach of care, you have 60 days to serve the claim, once you serve it, defendant puts in defence. 30 days to issue sod: plaintiff has 10 days to reply. In practice, you can contact other party and ask to extend to provide a reply.
