Journalists as gatekeepers? agenda-setting/gatekeeping: editors select stories and impact what the audience is exposed to (cannot stay objective) editors have their own opinions, backgrounds, politics that impact story selection. In-class activity: read through the two articles on the same topic, published on the same day.
