Who is most impacted by climate change? (climate inequality) Countries who have political leaders who don"t acknowledge climate change. Island nations, countries near the equator, and those who depend on the land are most vulnerable. The countries who are least vulnerable, are those who have contributed most greatly to climate change. Paris - these countries came together to argue for a global agreement on a 1. 5 degree increase. Monsoons, and other natural disasters are killing and displacing people. Single moms had huge delay in returning to their homes after hurricane katrina. Indigenous communities and communities of colour are often those who live near toxic waste sites etc. Ensure that they are at the frontline of the solutions. People are upset about wind turbines in ontario. Showing the north the affect their actions have on the south. If people have control they are more aware. Many people do not have an interface with how energy is produced.
