Misdiagnosis: people that do not fit the profile are not diagnosed with the problem,
and those diagnosed that did fit the profile effected the way complaints, and other
complaints were received
o Can prevent some people from being diagnosed
o Misdiagnosed: not diagnosed because they do not fit the profile, or wrongly
diagnosed because they do fit the profile
Stereotyping: a social, economic etc. type of person that are associated with certain
health problems
o Create stereotypes around the diagnosis around what kind of person they
are
