Where it becomes problematic is in the healthcare system, where people from certain groups who do not believe in surgery. -> in a medical system, it becomes problematic for a clinician. Peoples beliefs come from deep within their culture. Whose truth is (cid:373)ore (cid:448)alued a(cid:374)d (cid:449)ho"s truth is (cid:862)superior(cid:863) We have to respect that someone from a different culture will not agree with us. As a healthcare professional you have to listen, and not judge. You"ll (cid:272)o(cid:373)e i(cid:374)to (cid:272)o(cid:374)ta(cid:272)t (cid:449)ith patie(cid:374)ts (cid:449)hose (cid:271)eliefs you really do(cid:374)"t agree (cid:449)ith. You have to not show judgement about their culture you have to be accepting. But (cid:449)he(cid:374) you"re i(cid:374) (cid:272)o(cid:374)ta(cid:272)t (cid:449)ith a (cid:272)lie(cid:374)t, your jo(cid:271) is to (cid:271)uild relatio(cid:374)ships, o(cid:374)(cid:272)e you start judging you ruin that relationship.
