Mosquito in malaria or deer tick in lyme disease) may be involved. We knew that it was an upper respiratory virus disease. 2m distance is based on the evidence of droplet and air-borne transmission. There is a lot of research of fomites and how long the virus may be active on surfaces. Disease starts with susceptibility before you have acquired to the disease. at sometime, there is an exposure, you are considered to have preclinical disease up until there is an onset of symptom, which leads to diagnosis and clinical disease.
