Arteries begin in the heart and ends in the capillaries and the veins begin in the capillaries but ends in the heart. The inner most layer is the tunica intima, followed by the tunica media and the outermost is the tunica externa. In the capillary network, there are simple squamous epithelium, which has a special name, called endothelium (means lining of the blood vessels).
