The ways of thinking, the ways of acting and the material objects that together shape a ppls way of life. The physical things created by members of society that reflects cultural values and a society"s tech. Culture includes a wide range of physical human creations or artifacts. They are basically something that represents something else i. e. gritty and the philadelphia eagles. Anything that carries a particular meaning recognized by ppl who share a culture. Reality for humans is found in the meaning things carry w/ them. Ppl must be mindful that meanings vary from culture to culture and even vary w/in the same groups of ppl. Components of language mean something b/c we make it symbolic. A system of symbols that allows ppl to communicate w/ one another. The process by which one generation passes culture to the next. Ppl perceive the world through cultural lens of languages.
